On last June 26, our SEEDS volunteers and participants had the chance of going through the creative and nature driven cinematographic experience of watching the documentary "Fuglalíf", directed, produced and brought to life by Heimir Freyr Hlöðversson and Pétur Þór Ragnarsson, whom we had the chance to meet, along with the very interesting and kind protagonist of the film, Jóhann Óli Hilmarsson! 

 

Not only did we get to look at stunning frames of Iceland’s nature and learn more about its great fauna and, especially, birds, we also got to do it through the lenses of Jóhann, who allowed us to take a look into his life, work and passion.

 

It was an absolute bliss to go through the film, its dialogues, sensational photography and conscious cinematography. Thank you to our panellists for both the visual experience they gave everyone with "Fuglalíf", as well as for the insightful discussion that took place after the screening.
