Today, we celebrate the incredible hearts and hands that make SEEDS possible - our amazing volunteers!  From those who join us for just 10 days to those who stay for months on end, SEEDS thrives because of your contributions to environmental and intercultural awareness, making the world a better place.
 
A special, heartfelt thank you to our Long-Term Volunteers! These inspiring individuals dedicate 5 or more months of their lives to SEEDS, becoming an integral part of our journey and leaving a lasting impact on everyone they meet. 
 
Generations of long-term volunteers have called Mikla their home, transforming SEEDS into more than an organization - it’s a family, united by passion and purpose. Being a camp leader in Iceland is no small feat. They navigate unpredictable weather, the long darkness of winter, and the seemingly endless summer days. They adapt to living with so many people from all over the world, stepping out of their comfort zones and embracing a journey of learning, sharing and growth. Through it all, they bring energy, laughter, and love to every camp.
 
These are the volunteers who greet newcomers with warm smiles, lead workshops and excursions, and share their skills, creating memories that last a lifetime. Whether over coffee on snowy mornings or during deep conversations at night, their presence turns Mikla into a home away from home for so many. 
 
To all our volunteers, camp leaders, office and logistics, past and present: You are the heart of SEEDS. Your light, passion, and unwavering commitment inspire us every single day. Thank you for your love, your hard work, your teachings and patience, and for creating a space where volunteers from around the world make life-changing memories.
