Inspired by Iceland
Screening of Documentary "Eating up Easter"
26.01.2024
Do you think that tourism has impacted the cultural identity of Icelandic people? Is it possible to make tourism sustainable and still benefit from economic opportunities? How do you promote and educate on sustainability?  All these questions and much more have been covered during our last week screening of "Eating up Easter" by Plastic Oceans.

Our aim? To leave a lasting impact and talk about important topics! Post-screening, we engaged in a discussion with Gunnar Þór Jóhannesson and Irene Pruna Soler. Gunnar, a professor in Geography and Tourism, shared insights on intertwining of nature and culture. Irene explained us their Nordic Swan Ecolabel, and both discussed sustainability in action.

Big thanks to The Nordic House for providing their incredible venue! We will continue these conversations every month since now. Stay tuned for more.
